My fish also had babies but they aren’t guppies make sure u take the mom out soon or she will eat her young

One night i had 5 guppies the next morning there were 72… Hmmmmm
The first time my guppy mom gave birth, I took all those kids to another aquarium. Now when I see new guppies I don’t grab and save them from their parents because otherwise Id have to fill my whole apartment with water.
What do you do with the fry you can’t keep!? We can’t let them die! Most pet stores won’t take them. Where do they go?
This is the only time I have seen where the mother didn’t try to eat the babies. Why is that?
How many fry did she drop all together?

@AnimeWolvez When the female is heavily pregnant she will eat infrequently and hide from the other fish. There is plenty more signs. Lokk up : How to tell when guppy willo give birth. There is plenty of good sources out there.
dude you are so funny !! amazing video y used to raise guppys when i was 11 to 15 yrs old, that was a big passion and to exciting moment when we see the babies !
Will she start to eat alot when she is pregnant as in once you feed them she will just come up straight away even though you had fed her about 2-3 hours ago?
@TorontozFyx3st It’s hard to say without seeing your guppy. The best thing to do is find a tropical fish store near you and ask their advice. God Bless!

this worries me my guppy just gave birth today but only had 2 fry….. im waiting for more shes still got a black pouch.. how many min or hours in between babys are birthed?
